EDIT: Maybe another new plugin tomorrow! I've been working on destroying those pesky tag mismatch warnings on a bunch of plugins all day.

Wow, posting that plugin was much less nightmare-ish than I expected...anyway, BOSS BATTLES!

That's right! In case you didn't see the announcement we posted, we had fun testing this beautiful new plugin last night, and it works like a charm.

And finally, for the first time ever, if you own a SourceMod server, you can get the plugin for your own server here! Have fun!

EDIT: Boss Battles is coming tomorrow. Jan 2. I swear. Today we had fun clearing the warnings on it and testing it out with a few people. I'm making a note here: huge success!

Because it is! Merry Christmas--or whatever it is you celebrate. I actually personally don't celebrate anything. I'm just here for the free presents.

And now, you are too: BAM! Sound mod! Sci-Fi Gunslinger makes your TF2 Gunslinger sound like the Sci-Fi Handgun from TimeSplitters: Future Perfect.

Why wait until Sunday to release all sorts of stuff when I can begin now? That's a very good question, me. Allow me to not answer it and instead present these users with three new sound mods for TF2 I just released:

By the way, I thought the Heavy's Flip Taunt (video) was already in that list of recommended mods, turns out it wasn't. It is now. Which means you should also get that.

Now, back to playing T-I mean, working on Skybox and Project Thingy. Right.

Update on Stuff

EDIT 5: Done, playtesting and releasing!

EDIT 4: Update acquired, and I'm already taking too much time off of kill icon making to type this. Back to work!

EDIT 3: Someone at the Wiki already has the update it seems--and as expected, those are some pretty bad kill icons. Although some aren't that bad and just need a touchup on the colour. Still downloading the update over here!

EDIT 2: The update is out! Just about 20 minutes after writing that, too. It's not downloading, though. That, and the fact that I have to download these updates three times (Mac client, Windows client, Windows server) will add some delay to the KillIconsMod update. :(

EDIT: 24 hours later, 10 PM...still no TF2 update. Don't worry though, I'm a night owl. The KillIconsMod update WILL be out tonight! (as long as the TF2 update comes out tonight as well, of course)

Also, that big ol' CENSORED thing up there is about SOPA, the (hopefully not) upcoming bill to make the US the new China when it comes to the internet--while MSTR won't be affected by it, sites that run on user-submitted content (YouTube, Reddit, Twitter, etc.) will. Scary stuff. Best of luck to you guys down there.

In the meantime, here's that TF2 video I said I'd release today, if you still haven't seen it.

Heyo! XP here with an informal wall of text. TLDR below.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I am indeed not dead, and give a few updates on upcoming goodies. So ,let's get started!

First, KillIconsMod: a huge TF2 update is coming tomorrow with NEWWW WEAPOOONS! KIM will be updated to support this version of TF2, as well as adding some new icons, more mod support, and maybe even more icons. We will see how much effort Valve put into these new weapons' kill icons. All of that is coming: tomorrow! High chance that the new version of KIM will be out 2 hours or less after the TF2 update.

Moving on: Skybox 1.1 is still coming, obviously. As stated below, Mini-Mode, HLDJ, Aliases, and TTS Alerts tabs will all be there, along with even more good stuff. These new features will be highlighted again in a video pretty soon. One more TF2 video before that happens, though. (video tomorrow)

Next: Project Thingy, the combination of Timer, Counter, and Randomizer, is also still in progress.

And finally: SourceMod plugins are still coming soon. Working on cleaning up their code to eliminate warnings when compiling.

Now, those last three things (Skybox, Project Thingy, and SourceMod plugins) MIGHT all be coming on one day: December 25! Then again, that's just a guess. I think it would be cool to release them all on that day, but that MIGHT not happen. We'll see.

TLDR: KillIconsMod update coming tomorrow (as is a TF2 video). Skybox 1.1, Project Thingy, and SM plugins MAYBE coming all on one day: Dec 25

While waiting for Skybox 1.1, SourceMod plugins or whatever it is you want, here's a reminder: get KillIconsMod for your TF2.

It replaces shitty poorly-made kill icons. Since said icons are always in the top-right of your screen, you probably want them to be as beautiful as possible. Therefore, you probably want this mod.

Still unsure? Check out what it will be replacing. Roll over the image to invert it.

Mini-Mode

Both Skype for Mac and Skype for Windows have a feature that lets you view call status from anywhere in the OS. Pretty neat, huh? However, the Windows version's one is hard to find, and is fat and ugly.

Therefore, we have two options: a) live with ugliness, or b) invent Mini-Mode.

MSTR wisely picked B, and is ready to share it with you soon.

Mini-Mode, Text-to-Speech Alerts, Aliases, and a few more awesome improvements are also coming in the first update to Skybox: 1.1! Stay tuned!
